Photo shoot on the salt flats

So the other day well on the 22nd, sorry I have not updated in a while.
I went to model for a photo shoot by one of my favorite photographers, Cat Palmer.
shes all sorts of awesome.
So Katrina bailed on me and so I was going to have to drive out to wendover alone, and then woot woot, Chris and tony offered to ride with me, and tony has never been there anyway.
So we all piled into my car and off we were.

It was a pretty fun drive up, we stalked a motorcycle cuz we thought it was a cop and I have been really freaked out by cops lately so we were all cautious about it and tried to zoom in on the bike to see if it was a cop bike or not and so we used the zoom on my camera, lol cameras come in such handy.

So it wasint but thats ok.

On our way to the flats we stoped a few times to take some pretty cool landscape photos, and
we come across this random ass tree in the middle of nowhere, as in like this tree and nothing around it for miles and miles, and somehow this little bastard is alive, in salt.

We were pretty amazed.

But it was not just any tree, oh no.
A christmas tree.
wtf?

With a small solar pannel attatched to the lights on it we were all sorts of like what the F***?!
LOL @ us and graz in febuary, that chris was right.
We thought it was a moving crab or alien etc, it really was a random christmas tree.

(lol inside joke)

But anyway we took some shots and it was pretty randomly awesome.





Get to the flats
I took work off that day so I could do this shit.
been chillin with tony all day, lol I see him alot lately.
But its cool.
So we get there and there was another photoshoot going on for some magazine, it was pretty cool to see all this shit going on with this random red couch out there and a van and all these people and models and ugh it was quite a lot to take in.
It was crazy interesting to see though.


So we stand around for a while waiting for the other girls to arrive, there were quite a few women.
I was in group one where I ran around with a red cloth and we all danced and shit.
Was pretty fun, minus the fact the flats were hard and crusty and painful on bare feet.
It was pretty crazy though and quite the thing to see.
I personally have been meaning to do a shoot out there with a bunch of models and umbrellas.
haha, eventually right?

Cant wait to see how the photos turned out, she did individual shots as well for everyone, I looked like hell but oh well, well see how it comes out eh?




So it was all sorts of well and dandy, we returned home after stoping at a gas station in nevada.
Turned back ran out of gas in tooele.
Loled about it, had to have chris get us gas. now he probably cant go to this camping trip on the 7th but oh well.

Get home, take chris home , drop tony off at some park so he can chill with this chick, then I get a call from this girl katy, shes not my katrina, shes this pretty girl I really like who I met at work.

She invited me to a party, says shes leaving for it now but I can go to her house get money from her car and drive my ass to layton...

So I do.

Do all that go to layton.

Have an awesome fun time with her at this party, drank a little, other stuff. *cough couch*
chillin at a party with a bunch or hot military men.
And the girl of my dreams.

Get a text from aldo.
Hes all hey im at peace sign park wanna meet me there?
and Im like oh sure im just a good 40 miles from home, and somewhat iniberated.

So I tell everyone good bye.
Had a great time.

Drive out to see Aldo hes chilling at the park, and me and him sit and talk in his car for quite a while and eat cheezits.

I really like Aldo, hes quite the guy.

*nod nod*

Anyway him and I had a pretty good time hanging out at the park, then he had to go home and as did I seeing to how I had to work the next day.
I had one hell of a day though.
Phew I was beat.
